1. Introduction
PRAS LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED ("PrasGo", "we", "us", "our") operates the PrasGo website and the PrasGo mobile applications distributed through the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Services you agree to the practices described in this policy.

3. Information we collect
Account & profile data: name, email address, phone number, profile photo, password (hashed), date of birth where required. Booking & trip data: pickup/drop locations, route, timestamps, fare, ratings, in-app chat messages, SOS events. Payment data: limited card details and transaction tokens handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors; we do not store full card numbers. Device & technical data: device model, OS version, unique device identifiers, IP address, app version, crash logs, diagnostics. Location data: precise (GPS) and approximate location collected while the app is in use, and in the background only when you have an active or scheduled ride, in order to match you with a driver, provide live tracking, calculate fares and trigger safety features. Camera, microphone, contacts, photos & notifications: accessed only with your explicit, in-context permission for features such as profile photo upload, SOS voice notes, sharing trip details with an emergency contact, and ride status notifications. KYC & verification data (drivers/partners only): government ID, driving licence, vehicle documents, selfie for liveness check.
4. How we use your information
We use your information to: (a) create and manage your account; (b) operate ride-booking, dispatch, navigation, payments, receipts, refunds and customer support; (c) provide safety features such as SOS, live trip sharing, AI dash-cam review and driver verification; (d) prevent fraud, abuse and unauthorised access; (e) comply with Indian law (including the Motor Vehicles Act, Information Technology Act and Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), tax obligations, and lawful requests from authorities; (f) improve our Services through analytics, crash diagnostics and A/B testing using aggregated or pseudonymised data; (g) send service communications and, with your consent, marketing offers you can opt out of at any time.
5. Legal bases for processing
We process personal data on the following legal bases: performance of the contract you enter into when you book a ride; your consent (for location in the background, marketing communications and optional permissions such as camera or contacts); compliance with legal obligations; and our legitimate interests in keeping the Services safe, secure and reliable. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
6. How we share information
We share personal data only as needed to operate the Services: with drivers and fleet partners (limited to what is needed to complete your trip); with payment processors, mapping providers, SMS/email gateways, cloud hosting and analytics vendors acting as our processors under written agreements; with regulators, law enforcement or courts when required by law; with an acquirer or successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or asset sale, subject to confidentiality. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.
7. Third-party SDKs
Our mobile apps use third-party SDKs for crash reporting, analytics, push notifications, maps, in-app payments and authentication. These SDKs may process limited device identifiers and usage data. A current list of SDKs and their privacy policies is available on request at evfleet@praslogistics.co.in. We disclose the same data-collection practices in our Google Play Data Safety form and Apple App Store Privacy Nutrition Label.
8. Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes described above. Trip and invoice records are retained for up to 7 years to meet Indian tax and audit obligations. Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure, except where longer retention is required by law or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
9. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the EU/UK GDPR where it applies), you have the right to access, correct, update, port or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to nominate another individual to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity. You can manage app permissions (location, notifications, camera, microphone, contacts) at any time in your device settings.
10. Account and data deletion
You can request deletion of your PrasGo account and associated personal data at any time from within the app under "Profile → Settings → Delete Account", or by emailing evfleet@praslogistics.co.in with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". A web-based deletion request form is also available at the Contact page on this website, in compliance with Google Play's account-deletion requirement and Apple App Store guideline 5.1.1(v). We will verify your identity and complete deletion within 30 days, except where data must be retained to comply with law or resolve disputes.
11. Security
We use TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, role-based access controls, audit logging, secure-by-default cloud infrastructure and routine vulnerability scanning. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authority of any breach where required by law.
12. International data transfers
Your data is primarily stored on servers located in India. Where data is transferred outside India (for example, to cloud or analytics providers), we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards and ensure an adequate level of protection.
13. Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. Permissions used by our mobile apps
Location (foreground and background): to match rides, show live navigation, calculate fares and enable trip sharing. Notifications: to send ride updates and safety alerts. Camera: to upload profile photos and, for drivers, verify identity and vehicle documents. Microphone: optional, for SOS voice notes and customer support calls. Contacts: optional, to add trusted emergency contacts. Phone: to enable masked in-app calling between rider and driver. Each permission is requested in context and can be revoked at any time from your device settings.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through in-app notice or email at least 7 days before they take effect.
